Pizza Balls

Score one for mommy and an amazingly kid friendly dinner!

This was super easy. A little on the time consuming side in the assembly…but if you have kids that like to help in the kitchen you could speed up the process a little bit. My girls loved these. Amelia asked for more (unheard of!)

Here is what you need:

1 can refrigerated biscuits
Mozzarella cheese
Chopped pepperoni
1 Tb. melted butter
Herb or seasoning of choice

Flatten each biscuit slightly (I used my hand!) and cut in half. Flatten each half circle into a square/rectanglish shape. Sprinkle with cheese and chopped pepperoni and fold ends over creating a ball, making sure to pinch the dough together to keep the cheese inside. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic salt, Parmesan cheese, whatever you feel like… the world is your oyster! I used garlic salt. 🙂

Ready to go in the oven!

 Bake according to package directions.

Ready to be eaten!

These babies puff up a lot in the oven, so be liberal with the filling. I was skimpy with the cheese and after biting into it I realized it could have used a lot more.

You can see it’s a bit empty inside 🙂

Serve with a salad or crisp veggies and dip. Makes 16 pizza balls. Enjoy!
