St. Patrick’s Day Fun

We had such a fun day yesterday! We started the morning with coffee and blocks at the Oakwood Starbucks. Moms, did you know they have two kids tables with toys?? While my heart is with Caribou these days, I liked the extra space and kids tables at this particular Starbucks. That is not the point of this post, however, so back to the subject at hand!

After coffee, and lunch we went outside for some warm afternoon sun. It was such a beautiful day! We did our first chemistry experiment, thanks to this site.

Baking soda and vinegar... Fizzy!

She got bored with the dropper so we decided to pour it all on for a big finish!

After our little experiment we ran around for awhile…

Playing on the swingset

Then after nap time Amelia helped me make dinner. We had a green German Oven Pancake. It looked pretty cool! It was a little eggy tasting to me. Not quite as good as regular pancakes.

Dumping in the sprinkles

And then after dinner we went to the library for a Pinkalicious event! We were 15 minutes late and missed the whole play. But we got to participate in a little improv activity and craft time. ๐Ÿ™‚

We made a wand!

It was a really fun day! ๐Ÿ™‚ How did you celebrate St. Patrick’s day?
