Menu Plan Monday – Nov. 15

I’ve been sick for almost an entire week now. Blah! Last week was not too exciting until Friday when Sofi started “scooting!”  It’s exciting, but has created a few problems, in that our living room was not crawler friendly! So we had to rearrange some things and I’m going to have to keep my eye out for cheerios or small toys laying around. It’s so much fun to see how determined Sofi is. When she wants something she goes for it! She’s scooting 2 months earlier than Amelia did, so it’ll be interesting to see when she decides to start walking! I am continually amazed at the relationship the girls have with each other. Tonight at dinner, Jeremy actually (playfully) threatened to seperate them because Amelia was being goofy, causing Sofi to crack up (and spit rice cereal all over the table), causing Amelia to be even more goofy…and no one was eating dinner! I loved every minute of it. I never would have thought that my 2 yr. old and my 5 mo. old would be such best friends so early in life. I feel very blessed!

Speaking of dinner… Here’s what we are having this week!

Monday – Both Jer and I are still sick…I made homemade chicken noodle soup.

Tuesday – Hamburgers and oven fries

Wednesday – Gingerbread waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon

Thursday – Slow Cooker chicken stew with peppers and pineapple, rice

Friday – Homemade pizzas!

Saturday –
                       Breakfast: Homemade Poptarts
                       Dinner: Lemon Chicken Bake

Sunday – TBD

What’s on your menu this week?
