How-To With Amelia

How To Bake a Carrot Cake

First, dump the carrots and raisins into hot water and let it soak.

In a separate bowl, dump in the cake mix.

Have your mommy measure out the oil and pour it in.

Not pictured: mommy cracking the eggs open.

Now stir it all up! Boy, this looks disgusting.

Don't forget to offer kitty a taste!

Pour into greased pan and let mommy put it in the oven. Now we wait impatiently...

Now for the fun part! Ice the cake with lots of yummy cream cheese frosting.

And of course, you have to lick the spatula when you're done. 🙂

And of course, in the Foster tradition...must allow mommy to wipe frosting on your nose.

i was just thinking to myself , its time for amanda to leave a new blog, but thought well with sofi here, she probably doesnt have time and low and behold – you do have time and even time to bake a cake with your little betty crocker helping you along the way. This was great and we loved it. And dad says thanks for following the family tradition.
